  2. Yes, we’ll be releasing it at the time of the Overland Expo next month, on the Kindle.

  3. Is this the conclusion of book #1? Is it #1 and #2 together? New content outside of your blog postings? Can’t wait to read it!

  4. Brent, the first book took us through South America. This book starts in Malaysia and finishes the trip. It contains some stories you may have heard (as expected) as well as a good deal of new content; more than there was in the first book (first book was about 30% new content). Enjoy!

  5. Brad, we will be at OEXPO in a few. Will you have any books, incuding this one, for sale? if not available on print, will you be taking orders or is it best to just pre-order at Amazon?

  6. Jeff, we’ll be using OEXPO as our official book release event, so we’ll have a whole gaggle of both books there for sale. You can preorder it if you want to receive it in advance of the expo, or you can buy it there in person. Right now it’s cheaper on Amazon, though, as they’re selling it at a 25% discount as a promo. See you in a couple of weeks!

Will it be coming out as a Nook e-book as well?

Comment by Todd Jones on May 20, 2015 at 4:41 pm

  9. Todd, we don’t have immediate plans to publish on Nook. We published DND on Nook, but have hardly seen any action through Barnes & Noble (1-3 purchases per month, zero reviews). I think this time around we will focus our e-efforts on Kindle.

Loved your books. Bought them at the overland expo at Mormon Lake. I was mainly interested in overland travel by way of motorcycle and bought every book available including yours. After getting home I started reading your book. WOW you are from Prescott where I live and all the references to place I am so familiar with. I just wish I would have put more stock into your travels at the time and have gotten a picture with you. I did not see Sheena. Your writing style is amazing and I loved every page.I hope to formally meet you some time in the future.

  11. Jeff, very kind of you, thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the books. Small world, eh? From little old Prescott! If you’re ever passing through Seattle on your travels, look us up and we’ll buy you a drink. Travel well,
